Olympic champion and winner of two titles of "Grand Slam" Andy Murray is the next obstacle for the best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov in the Australian Open. Putted sixth in the scheme the Scot did not lose a set in his third game after outplaying the Portugal`s Joao Souza with 6:1, 6:1, 7:5.
In the first two sets Murray was ruthless with his opponents, giving him one game in each of them and only in the third the Portuguese proved more serious resistance. Murray realize breakthrough in the 12th game, which put an end to the dispute and get him a meeting with Dimitrov.
Murray made nine aces against none for Souza and both players have conceded three double faults. Murray recorded 39 winners and Souza - 17. The three time finalist in Melbourne made 29 unforced errors against 24 for the Portuguese. Murray conceded one break, but for the 7th times won the submission of his opponent and after 2 hours and 6 minutes was congratulated with the victory.
Murray and Dimitrov have played 6 times against each other and the Scot has 4 wins. Murray won the last match between them - 6:3, 6:3 in the 1/4-finals of the "Masters" in Paris at the end of the last season, but Dimitrov defeated Murray with the impressive 6:1, 7:6 (4), 6:2 in the quarter-finals of the "Wimbledon" in their encounter in the tournament of "Grand Slam".
