The world number one Novak Djokovic successfully started the season on hard courts in North America.
The Serb won with 6:3, 7:6 (4) over the Brazilian lefty Thomaz Bellucci after one hour and 49 minutes game at the tournament analyzed by fixedsoccerpicks.com in Montreal. This was a victory No250 for Nole in the series "Masters 1000".
In the first part Djokovic achieved a breakthrough,which was enough to win the set. In the second it get to a tiebreak, which he coolly won. Novak reflected all five break points of his opponent.
"The rain made the court slower and it was better for Thomas. He played solid, he has not gave up until the last ball. I`ll need time to get into a rhythm, but I hope after the match at pairs everything will be okay," said Novak, for whom this has been the first match on hard after March in Miami.
The three-times champion at "Rogers Cup" (2007, 2011, 2012) expects in the third round the winner of today`s match between Grigor Dimitrov and Jack Sock.
