The legend of Manchester United, David Beckham, called Memphis Depaj to be inspired by the mythical for United No 7 t-ship, which bears on his back, and used it to their advantage in order to improve his game.
Depaj wished to bear this number after his transfer in the summer, but currently fails to demonstrate his class in England.
The 21-year-old Dutchman lost his titular place and Louis van Gaal prefers to bet on Anthony Marshal.
`I don`t think this impertinent, but as an honor., said Beckham on the occasion of the election of Depaj. `When you get a shirt with no 7, it does not matter who has worn it in the past, and what this player has achieved before.`
`Ultimately this is a special t-shirt to wear, but I don`t think it comes with some tension. It has always been an inspiration to me.`, said Beckham.
`It was never my t-shirt. It was George best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona. The only reason I want to wear this number was because of those players. T-shirt number 7 is special for Man Utd. It always has been and will be.`
