The 56-year-old Dutch veteran Gus Hiddink will be the temporary manager of the English Chelsea until the end of the current season, announced the newspaper Daily Telegraph.
Hiddink will lead the team instead of the left today by mutual consent, Portuguese ,Jose Mourinho. According to his contract, Mourinho was supposed to received a penalty in the amount of EUR40 million, but other media have claimed that both sides had agreed to 12 million.
For Hiddink this is not a new position, since in 2009 he was again a temporary manager. Under his leadership, the Blues of were awarded with the FA Cup and have reached the semi-finals in the Champions League, where in two games from fixed tips and was dropped with the hotly contested referee judgments from Barcelona.
His last work was the national coach of his native Netherlands, as his contract runs out in June 2015. His rich career also includes period at Real Madrid, the coach of Russia, Turkey, Australia, the Republic of Korea and the Netherlands again, but in the period 1994-1998.
