The former player of Real Madrid and the Spurs, Rafael van der Vaart, will continue his career in Denmark.
The 33-year-old Dutchman, who has had 109 caps for the Tulips, definitely goes down in recent years and now signed with Midtjylland as he came from Real Betis where last season he disappointed everybody.
Van der Vaart is under a contract to be ceded for two seasons, as a part of his salary will be paid by the club by confident picks from Sevilla, who strongly wanted to get rid of him.
`The expectation was long, but now I am a player of Midtjylland and I am very pleased. I`m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and starting to play.`, said van der Vaart.
`This is a young team with talented players and a very good school. I hope that with his experience could help them to develop and will be useful. I feel good physically, but I still have to get in a little better rhythm.`, he added.
Midtjylland finished the third in the League last season, and after 4 games it is still undefeated with 2 success and 2 draws. The team is on the second place, two points away from the leader FC Kobenhavn.
