Rafael Nadal lost for fifth consecutive time Roger Federer but still has a significant lead over him in the world rankings. For the time being, the Spaniard heads 1900 points more than his great Swiss opponent, and by the end of the year he has played three tournaments with their participation.
Due to the tiredness of the US Open, Beijing and Shanghai, Nadal declined to participate in the Basel (ATP500) tournament. There Federer is the favorite for the title, which would be his seventh, and eventually will give him 500 points for the world rankings. To overtake Nadal in the first place, however, the Maestro needs to win at least two of the remaining three tournaments predicted by archive of tennis predictions (Basel, Paris and London). The title of the Rafa in Paris or London will guarantee him the end of the year as world number one, but it is important to emphasize that he ha s never triumphed in his career at these events.
