The man who barely killed the footballers of Borussia (D) may be in prison for the rest of his days

The prosecutor`s office has demanded a life sentence for the man who, on April 11, 2017, blew up a bomb, which was about to kill Borussia (Dortmund) football players and coaches. Then an explosive device was thrown at the crossing of the road with the German club team who was going for a match against Monaco in the Champions League. The bus drivers have been very lucky, with the only defender Marc Bartra getting injured. A patrolling policeman suffered more easily. Later, the police detained the Russian-German citizen Sergej W for the attack. Now the Dortmund court prosecutor has asked him to lie in prison for the rest of his days. The verdict will be read on November 27th.

The Sergej W has received 28 counts of murder attempts. The Prosecutor`s Office says he claimed 15, 000 clubs from contacts with football tips worth 78, 000 euros on the day of the explosio n and his goal was to raise money from the exchange rate change because of the predicted instability after the incident. He tried to fool the investigation by throwing letters in which an Islamic state was taking responsibility for the assassination. However, he was subsequently exposed because of his suspicious behavior at the hotel`s restaurant, where he observed the consequences of his actions quite calmly.
