Alfa Romeo is pleased with the latest innovations, but planned to have them ready before the stage in Mexico.

Chevy Pujolar, head of Alfa Romeo racing technical development, admitted that the updates that the team had prepared for the races in Austin and Mexico City proved to be good - the car began to look faster in slow and high-speed corners, and in the Mexican race Valtteri Bottas even managed to qualify sixth (although insubsequently slipped to tenth place).

However, due to production difficulties, some of the updates appeared later than planned.

The last few innovations have worked well. Yes, we wanted to bring the last package early - then it would be easier to fight competitors - but still we brought it.

And this is good, because the results by archive of soccer picks encouraged the team - we are fighting for 6th place in the Constructors` Championship. It was nice to watch the performance of Valtteri in qualifying, as well as for Zhou.

The upgrade of the car took a little longer due to the production of parts on the basis of the team. Competitors prepared new items before the summer break, and we were a little late. And it`s not even about the development of these parts - I think the pace is about the same here - but, probably, because of the timing of the creation of these components at the factory, - said Pujolar.

Alfa Romeo boss Fred Wasser added:

We have a tight fight with the main rivals, and even 0. 1-0. 2 seconds can help to jump from 18th to 8th place, which completely affects the course of the weekend. I think we have slowed down a little with the release of new products, besides, it depends on the budget. But this pays off.
