The football legend Diego Maradona remained in opposition to most of the potential candidates for the Presidency in FIFA. After many years of sharply criticized current President Sepp Blatter retired, now his sharp words was about Michel Platini who reads about his successor.
`I remember very well the Platini and his words. The previous elections, said he would support Blatter`s rival, but we all saw it what you did and how you looked away. He`s definitely not the man who will change football.`
`Platini is just a liar. He is the same corrupt functionary, as Blatter. There`s no way to fix the mess that the current managers tangled. He is trying to walk in the footsteps of Blatter, but still just lame.`
`I don`t see how this person will do what is necessary to send to jail all those who deserve it. My only hope is in the Prince Ali and I hope to bring the necessary transparency.`, said Maradona in an interview.
