Indiana point guard Tyrese Haliburton clarified his widely reported comments about the lack of a winning culture on his former team in Sacramento.
Sacramento is playing well right now. People made a big deal out of what I had to say about the culture at Kings. . . Most of the players who were with me will say the same thing. That`s why coaches and general managers change there. I don`t know why my words were blown out of proportion. But it doesn`t depend on me.
Fox is in the team for a long time. He`s playing at an All-Star level. He`s trying to build something there. Harrison Barnes is fine, the newcomers are good, the bench is well selected. They look good and are trying to build something, " Haliburton said.
Sacramento holds the NBA anti-record for most seasons without a playoff. The last time the team made it to the playoffs was 2006.
The Kings traded Haliburton to the Pacers in February of this year.
